Meet Dr. Matthew Puzio (Dennis, MA)

Dr. Matthew Puzio, the son of founder Dr. Frank Puzio, joined the practice in 2006. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Assumption College and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Matthew completed post-doctorate fellowships in contact lenses, vision therapy, and sports vision. He specializes in advanced contact lens fitting and dry eye management, including IPL. Puzio Eyecare Associates is the only office on Cape Cod to offer IPL, a revolutionary dry eye procedure.

He stays at the forefront of the most current trends in eye care and is always looking for ways to improve the practice: clinically, technically, and through process improvement.

Dr. Matthew Puzio maintains active memberships in the American Optometric Association, the Massachusetts Optometric Association, and is a member of the Cape Cod Eye Care Associates.

He is the president of Practice Management Associates, a select group of 12 progressive optometric practices from across the country who meet regularly to share practice improvement ideas and to help develop new products and services for ophthalmic companies.

He currently resides in Dennis with his wife Meredith, daughters Leighton and Hadley, and their dog Lucca. Personal interests include skiing, bike riding, basketball, and golf.
